Bridge rectifiers, also called diode bridges, are components made up of four diodes connected together that convert the incoming alternating current into direct current at the output. As they come in different types, such as single-phase or three-phase rectifiers, bridge rectifiers are very popular especially in the application of household appliances to reduce energy consumption. They can also be custom designed on request.
